Description

Bamboo is a lovely little lady who is currently living outside in the protected bamboo grove of a senior living facility. She was neutered and given vaccines in July, and she is desperate to be an indoor cat! She is always trying to follow people inside and very vocal about her desire for human interaction. She comes when called, and she loves pets but only on her terms! She will give a little hiss if she’s not wanting attention, but she always walks up to the residents who hang out with her in the courtyard. She would love a home where she can have some space, so even if you work away from home and can’t give her constant attention, that would be perfectly fine! She is easy to handle and place in a carrier and she loves to play with her wand toy. She hasn’t been around other animals or children, so her temperament around them is unknown, but her preference for personal space in small areas suggests that at least to begin with that she would prefer to be a solo kitty. She is being fed and cared for by a resident, but that resident is unable to adopt her.
