Meet Oden! Big, fluffy, handsome—and an absolute sweetheart! ❤️ Oden is a 3-year-old Alaskan Malamute who is one BIG boy with plenty of floof to go around! This handsome guy came to us from the Fort Worth shelter, and honestly, we’re still trying to figure out how such a well-behaved dog ended up there! Oden is a total gentleman in the house. He is crate trained and potty trained, although he doesn’t need a crate because he is on his very best behavior when left home alone. He gets along wonderfully with his foster family’s two other Huskies and loves meeting new people. One of Oden’s favorite pastimes is sitting on the ledge in his backyard, watching the world go by. He’ll just sit there taking it all in like he has very important business to observe. He walks well on a leash, although this big guy can occasionally put a little muscle into his walk when something catches his attention. Nothing unusual for a big Malamute! And then there’s the pool… Oden accidentally took a little dip and quickly discovered that a swimming pool is apparently bottomless! He has decided that was enough aquatic adventure for one lifetime and has no intention of repeating the experience. LOL! Oden is the kind of dog who is easy to love. He’s sweet, well-mannered, social, and just a big lovable ball of floof looking for the family he can finally call his own.
