Boone (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

Description

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 9/6/2026:  Boone - male - 3 years old - 19.12 pounds - Pug Reason for intake:  Boone is a breeder-release via a rescue friend.  He has something going on with his eyes.  We don't know if it's inverted eyelids causing the lashes to rub against the eye.  That seems to be what the breeder believes but we are having our vet determine for sure.  He's also got some missing patches of hair.  Demodex maybe?  Either way, our vet will do a skin scrape and figure out what's going on with his eyes.   He's heading to our vet the week of 9/7/2026, for neutering and everything else he needs. NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
