Meet Oreo - she is available after her vaccines. Oreo is a beautiful little girl with gorgeous blue eyes and a large upside-down U marking on her face. Oreo was one of five kittens abandoned at Nottley Lake. They were discovered together the following morning after what was likely a long and frightening night alone. Now she's healthy, safe, and learning that people can be kind.  Oreo is the gentle soul of the group. She's shy and timid when she's unsure about something, and she would much rather watch the world for a moment before jumping into it. But give Oreo some cuddles, and you'll see a completely different side of her. She loves being held and loved on. In fact, cuddles may be her favorite thing in the entire world.  She's not usually the kitten leading the adventure—but if one of her siblings decides it's time to explore, Oreo will happily follow along. She finds courage in having a friend beside her.  And when it's time for pictures?  She'll sit still and patiently let you admire that beautiful face. Oreo doesn't need to be the boldest kitten in the room. She just needs someone who understands that sometimes the sweetest hearts take a little longer to trust. Someone who will give her patience.  Someone who will give her safety. Someone who will show her that the people who love you come back. Oreo survived a frightening beginning.
