Please be aware that our animal adoptions are NOT on a first come- first serve basis. Our sole purpose is to find the best possible home for the dogs that fall under our care. Please be patient our rescue consists of all volunteers. Please don't be upset at us if you're not able to adopt. We do our best. MEET TUCKER!  We rescued this sweet boy from a county shelter, where he was very scared and unsure of what was happening. He really needed us! Tucker is an estimated 2-year-old Pomeranian mix who weighs about 16 pounds. He is incredibly cute, absolutely beautiful, and has the energy of a puppy! He’s a very active boy who loves to play, explore, and be part of the action. But underneath all that energy is a very sweet boy who absolutely loves getting pets and affection.  He has been wonderful with all of our foster dogs and enjoys having canine friends around. We don’t believe Tucker is a fan of cats, so a cat-free home would be best for him. Tucker has had a few accidents so expect a few till he figures it out. Our  foster said he is crate trained now. Tucker is neutered, up to date on all vaccinations, microchipped, vet examined, and heartworm negative. He is ready to find his forever family! Like all Pomeranians, Tucker will need regular grooming. When he was rescued, he had so many painful mats that he had to be shaved. His beautiful coat will grow back, but his new family will need to be committed to keeping him brushed and properly groomed from here on out.  We would prefer a home environment for Tucker, rather than one where he is left alone for long hours. An experienced Pomeranian owner would be wonderful, and we think a retiree or work-from-home family could be an especially perfect match for this energetic little guy. Tucker’s adoption donation is $400.
