Meet Eddie!  He is a 1 year old Rat Terrier Mix who weighs 9.8lbs. Eddie may be a bit scared and unsure at first, but don’t let that fool you. Once he realizes you’re kind, he warms up quickly and shows his soft, affectionate side. There’s something incredibly endearing about the way he watches the world — cautious, curious, and quietly hopeful. He might prefer a calm, quiet home where he can take his time to settle in... or he might surprise everyone and come out of his shell once he knows he’s safe. That’s the magic of Eddie — he’s still discovering who he can be, and he just needs the right person to help him blossom. If you’re patient, gentle, and ready to cheer on a shy sweetheart as he grows braver every day, Eddie could be your perfect match. He’s waiting for someone to show him that the world isn’t so scary after all. His minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
