Raven joins the rescue from New York City when his owner became without the means to care for him. Both the NYC shelter and the rescue helped with food, vet care etc - but in the end, Raven is looking for a new family.  Raven is a 6 yr old rottie boy (AKC papers and all) who is very well trained and has been with his male owner since puppy-hood. He is house trained, crate trained, knows commands and is quite responsive. He is regularly exercised and socialized with dogs of all sizes. He does bark at community cats but has not lived with them. He is well known in his neighborhood with the children as well. Raven is scheduled to be transferred to the rescue on Sep 13. It would be ideal if he could go straight into a forever family. If he can be adopted directly, the adoption fee is waived because this is in Raven's best interest. If the rescue incurs costs (boarding, transport ect), the fee can not be waived.   PLEASE consider giving Raven a home.
