Millie is a special dog looking for a loving home to provide her a stable, calm and low-stress lifestyle. Millie has been in and out of shelter care for ~2 years and is anxious after a lot of change in a short amount of time. Millie is affectionate and loving with people she trusts; despite her size, she absolutely loves to be a lap dog. Millie is food-motivated and enjoys games and slow feeders during mealtime; they are engaging and extend out mealtime for her, one of her favorite times of the day! Millie pulls some on leash but she's not an enthusiastic walker, preferring playtime in the yard or cuddly with a person instead. She does well on short walks but she's not looking for a daily hike. Millie is looking for a home where she is the center of attention and has first (and only) dibs on your lap. Millie's adoption fee is sponsored by a generous donor!
