9/5/26 We cant figure out why this adorable little guy is still not adopted. He is absolutely precious! Sadly, his dad passed away unexpectedly. His mom had to move in with family who would not allow Chewy to come along. Chewy is a good little boy. He is friendly and playful with people and other dogs. This is what Chewy's foster says about him: Meet Chewy. He is as mischievous and sweet all rolled up in to one as he looks. he definitely has human-like eyes. We believe he is a terrier mix but we only have his looks to go by. 1-2 years old and about 15 lbs. He is housebroken. He is not a fan of the crate and will voice his objection but settles after about 15 minutes. He is obsessed with my cat and truly thinks she is his. He chases but doesn't hurt her. He really likes to play with dogs so ideally an active playmate would be best. He seems to prefer men over women but he really likes anyone who is nice to him. He is ready to find a home of his own! He is fully vetted. Chewy is located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in MD, PA, NJ, or CT on Saturdays.
