Description

Meet Opal!  Opal is a stunning 14-week-old torbie girl who is absolutely beautiful inside and out. She can be a little shy when she first meets someone and needs a bit of time to warm up, but once she feels comfortable, her playful personality comes shining through. She is ready to find her person and become someone's new best friend! Opal does have a unique genetic abnormality called pectus excavatum. This is a condition where the ribs grow inward more than normal, creating a sunken appearance to the chest. In Opal's case, it is non-painful and has not slowed her down at all. Most of the time, you would never even realize there is anything different about her. She runs, plays, and enjoys life just like any other kitten. Opal has been spayed, fully vaccinated, microchipped, tested negative for FIV/FeLV, and is on parasite prevention. Her adoption fee is $200. If you're willing to give this beautiful girl a little time to warm up and let her show you what a wonderful companion she can be, Opal may be the perfect match for you! Please remember: Unless otherwise specified, all our kittens and cats are strictly indoor pets. If you’re interested in adoption, please visit straylovefoundation.org and complete an adoption application. Every rescue in our care receives comprehensive vetting, which includes: A combo test Deworming Spay/neuter procedures Vaccinations Microchipping We take every possible step to ensure their health and happiness, giving them the best chance at a long, fulfilling life. While we do everything in our power to provide healthy rescues, it's important to note that some animals may have genetic health conditions we cannot predict (since we don’t have their family history). Additionally, medical tests—though highly reliable—can occasionally yield false negatives. Unexpected health issues may arise, either before or after adoption, but thanks to our thorough vetting process, the likelihood of a long and healthy life is very high. Additional adoption details: Transportation fees, if applicable, vary based on distance and expenses. Home checks may be conducted. Our standard tax-deductible adoption donation is $200. For special breeds, uniquely colored, or exceptionally adorable rescues, we may request a higher donation to help cover vet expenses. Can't adopt? Consider donating, sponsoring, or volunteering! Every form of support makes a difference. Tax-deductible donations can be made via PayPal using info@straylovefoundation.org, or by clicking the donate button on our: Facebook page Website homepage at www.straylovefoundation.org
