Description

Chi-Chi was a local stray saved after being placed on the top of a dumpster with no way to get down - how cruel!  When he arrived, he weighed only 4.5lbs and he looked it! Since being in his foster home with good, nutritious food, receiving appropriate vetting exam, he has double his weight and the transformation is heartwarming and makes every rescuer smile with happy tears! (see photos for his glow-up)!!!!! He is estimated to be 3-4 years old and weighs approximately 9-10lbs and is still filling out to a healthy weight!  Foster Home Update:  He LOVES women and food (understandable!) is good with other dogs in the home (a Shepherd and another foster puppy) and doesn't care about the resident cat either! He is a typical "Chi" that chooses his person and wants to be the light of that person's life and will tell the other pets in the home "mine, mine, mine - go away". He is crate trained too! Kids should be older (no toddlers) and Chihuahua personality 'savvy'! We recommend training for all our dogs!     **Breed or size (once fully grown) is a 'best guess' and is not guaranteed since they arrived into rescue without either parent. **Magnificent Mutts is an all foster home based rescue and meets are held by appointment with the entire family in attendance.
