Meet Lani & Luna, the adolescent kitties. Both girls were surrendered to the Shelter after the previous guardian was moving and unable to continue caring for them. Luna and Lani can be a little shy with new people but with time, comes out for attention. They have lived with young children and tolerate them but hide when they bother them. A home with children who be respectful of the cats, especially as they are getting to know the family, is recommended. Luna and Lani were indoor only and would do best with a similar set up in their adoptive home. To help keep them together, Luna & Lani’s adoption fee is 2 for 1. Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them
