Description

This sweet 10-month-old spayed Domestic Shorthair is looking for a dedicated adopter who can support her ongoing recovery and help her thrive. She came to Animal Services on August 17 with suspected trauma to her right rear leg after potentially being hit by a car. As she continues to heal from her leg amputation, she will need a home where her environment can be carefully managed to limit access to stairs, high furniture, and other areas that may encourage jumping. At the same time, she should be able to comfortably access all areas of the home she needs for daily living. She must remain an indoor-only cat, and any outdoor time should be fully supervised using a leash and harness or within a secure catio/cattery. Maintaining a healthy, optimal weight will also be important for her long-term comfort and mobility. With a patient adopter committed to her care and safety, this resilient young cat is sure to make a wonderful companion.
