Anabelle

Description

Foster or forever home wanted, meet Anabelle. To be a black dog in a shelter is bad enough, as they are often overlooked. Add to that, Anabelle was so scared in the shelter environment, she didn't present well. She was impounded as a stray on August 13th, in a shelter that is already overwhelmed and overcrowded. The environment was taking a toll on her and she was red listed. We couldn't allow that to happen to her knowing once out of that environment she'll learn to trust again.  We were able to save Anabelle and get her transported to one of our commonly used boarding areas. While never ideal, it was the only way to save her life.
