Journey is a beautiful white-and-blue female budgie, about 10 months old, looking for a loving home of her own.Journey has lived happily with two other budgies and is a friendly, curious little girl. She may need some time to adjust to a new environment and build trust, but with patience, gentle interaction, and consistency, she can form a wonderful bond with her person. She can be separated from her budgie companions to focus on bonding with her adopter, provided she receives plenty of daily attention and enrichment.Journey's ideal home will provide:A spacious, secure cage with room to fly, climb, and move comfortablyNatural perches in different sizes and textures to keep her feet healthyPlenty of safe toys, swings, and foraging activities to keep her busy and mentally stimulatedA healthy, balanced diet of quality budgie pellets, fresh vegetables/greens, and limited seedFresh food and clean water every dayDaily interaction and supervised out-of-cage time in a safe, bird-proofed areaRegular care from an avian veterinarianMost importantly, Journey needs someone who understands that trust takes time. Talking softly to her, offering treats, spending time nearby, and letting her approach at her own pace will help her feel safe and loved.She may not be an instant best friend, but with a little patience, Journey has the potential to become a wonderful little companion.
