CRICKET NEEDS A FOSTER OR FOREVER HOME!!!! Name:  Cricket          Best Guess for Breed:  Sheltie mix   Best Guess for Age: 5 years as of Sept. 2026          SEX: Female   Approximate Weight:   30lbs   Gets Along With:  Other dogs! We haven't seen them with cats or kids but we are happy to discuss integration techniques with any potential adopters!   Currently Living at: South Carolina shelter; needs DC area foster or forever home   Special adoption considerations: Cricket was rescued from a hoarding situation in South Carolina.  She has not been well socialized with new people and has lived her whole life with other dogs.  New nosies, cars, bikes, and other things may create fear and anxiety. She will need a patient adopter who can give her time to come out of her shell and learn that the world is a wonderful and welcoming place.    Cricket is Looking For:  A life of pampering! Cricket didn't have the best start in life. She was rescued from a hoarding situation and raised a litter of puppies. Now she's ready for some pampering of her own! She'd love to learn more about the world through walks and other adventures, and she'd love to find her forever home to love for the rest of her life!  What My Foster Says About Me:   Coming soon! Lucky Dog cannot guarantee any dog is housebroken.  All of our dogs are working on their crate training.  TO ADOPT: The adoption fee for this dog is $460, which includes the cost of routine vetting, including vaccinations and spay/neuter.
