*** Check Out My Video Album Below! *** Meet Oreo - a fluffy, cookie-named cutie who's every bit as sweet as her namesake! Oreo has long, soft fur and the cutest ears that have a mind of their own, sticking up every which way in an adorable fashion statement. She's working on her crate-training and is currently in the process of learning house manners and basic commands - she's already got "wait" and "let's go in" down pat! Oreo has a high puppy activity level, so she keeps things fun and lively. She currently plays in a 4-foot exercise pen but can climb out of it, so a 6-foot fence is needed to keep her safely contained. Her foster mom’s 15-year-old grandson comes over to visit and play with her, and she'd do well with kids of any age. She's been around chickens and barks at them to say her greetings. She enjoys barking to hear the sound of her own voice (just like a grown-up Pyr!). Oreo is happy having adventures and naptime both inside and outdoors. She likes to be held, loves squeaky toys, likes car rides, and loves playing with her sister. Loud noises will cause her to stop and look around, and she avoids getting wet if at all possible. Her favorite treat is cheese, and she hopes that her forever family will have some waiting for her! Oreo has an instigator personality and she likes to steal toys from her sister. She plays hard, and naps even harder, preferring to sleep on her back. The ideal home for Oreo would be an active one with another dog to play with and show her the ropes. Her best qualities shine through in her playful, active spirit - she's a puppy who loves to be petted and held, and is sure to bring joy and laughter to the lucky family who adopts her! Dewormed, negative for heartworm, up-to-date on vaccinations and currently on flea, tick and heartworm preventative. This dog travels with an Interstate Health Certificate required by the USDA confirming that all the above criteria have been met. Fees: Adoption fees are determined on a sliding scale depending on age, location and transport. Transport costs are included in the adoption fee. Fees for dogs adopted locally start at $400 and can range up to $700 for puppies under six months. Puppies placed on spay/neuter contracts receive $100 back when the dog is spayed or neutered.
