Jett (NOT YET AVAILABLE)

NOT YET TAKING APPLICATIONS – NOT YET AVAILABLE FOR ADOPTION NEW INTAKE 9/2/2026:  Jett - male - 8 years old - 18.10 dense pounds (he's small but thick) - Maltese mix Reason for intake:  Jett came to us from animal control.  This sweet boy came to them heavily matted.  It was so bad that they sent him to their vet for sedation and shave down.  He had a bacterial skin infection under all of that mess.  They then contacted us for help and we took him in.  He has a fatty-type mass around his rear right flank area, along with one on his chest.  We will have both removed when he goes under for a dental.  He's already neutered.  He is the sweetest boy EVER!  He's heading to our vet the week of 9/7/2026!  Stay tuned! NOT TAKING APPLICATIONS:  Many dogs, particularly breeder, hoarder or senior dogs, can have multiple medical issues that need addressed.  Additionally, sometimes we take in young puppies requiring multiple vaccinations and/or quarantining.   In this particular case, we are not yet taking applications either due to age or possible illness or some other reason.  We will post when s(he) is ready for adoption.  In the interest of fairness, EARLY application submissions will NOT be considered.  Please note…  we cannot respond to messages/emails, etc., on dogs that are NOT yet available for adoption.  Please wait until the dog is available for adoption.  We will post him or her on Facebook in our Adoptable Dog Album pinned to the top of our page which you can follow at this link:  https://www.facebook.com/share/1B46skRWF5/ OR you can keep checking our website at www.roadtorescuela.org.  We appreciate your cooperation and understanding.
