Imagine finding yourself alone, with nowhere to call home; abandoned. Months ago, I was caught in this current of dismay and shaky footing. When would I be safe again? As I thought all hope was lost a hero came out of the fog. He took me into his arms and led me to a small but safe place. I was surrounded by dogs, volunteers and time. So much time on my paws. I had drifted into the stream of the animal welfare system. Full of loving people, many of which have seen better days. Many of which had to make tough decisions.  They named me: Sonna. I am a strong girl. My personality is one of valor, pride and joy. I am a protector....until you offer a walk and a belly rub. Then baby, I AM ALL YOURS! In my dreams I long for my home. I would enjoy a family life. Mostly because I like other dogs, really don't even mind cats and kids are cool as long as they are chilllllll. I love car rides and don't get me started on nap times. That is a personal favorite hobby. I have lived the last several months in animal control but have gotten a few breaks from some lovely foster folks.  I see my future as a bright light! In a home with people's arms outstretched and ready to embrace me. Are you ready to meet your match because baby I am waiting for you to find me.  Sonna is a loving girl with a larger bark than anything else on her stout body. She is loving, loyal and hopefully the missing piece to your puzzle?! Sonna is estimated around 3.5-4 years old, she is fully vetted, and a Pitbull or Staffordshire cross.
