Meet Babs, a 1-year-old Terrier mix weighing 27 pounds. Babs may be a little shy when you first meet her, but give her some time and you’ll quickly discover what a sweet, cuddly girl she is. Babs has spent the last couple of days getting to know Julie, and she’s already starting to come out of her shell. Once she’s comfortable with you, she loves to give kisses and curl up for some cuddle time. She’s also eager to please and seems to really enjoy the attention and affection from her people. Today, Babs even rolled over for belly rubs despite wearing a doughnut cone! She also finally decided that treats might not be so bad after all. These little moments are a great reminder that with some patience and kindness, Babs is becoming more comfortable and showing more of her sweet personality each day. Babs is looking for someone who will give her the time she needs to feel safe and comfortable. If you’re willing to let this shy girl come out of her shell at her own pace, you may just find yourself with a loving little cuddle bug who is more than happy to return the favor with plenty of kisses. Her minimum adoption fee is $300 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. She has been spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
