Can we admit something about Rowan?  He is sooo cute!! We don't like to be shallow, but some facts are undeniable.  Rowan is also very loving and affectionate.  When he gets attention from a person, he just wants to rub all over them and hopes they will NEVER leave.  If you are hoping for a retiring, shy cat, Rowan may not be the one for you! . . . We can tell he longs to just sit and cuddle, which is not something we have a lot of time to do, but we try our best when we can. One thing about Rowan is that he does test positive for a retrovirus called FIV.  This was long thought to be a scary diagnosis, but all it really means is a lower immune system.  Rowan needs simply the same resources as any Catsnap cat:  good food, an indoor home, and regular vet care.  On average, cats with FIV live just as long as cats without!  Would you be willing to show this little cuddle bug that he never has to worry about virus transmission again?  Apply to meet Rowan and you will likely want to make him part of your family!     Thank you for your interest in a CATsNAP cat or kitten!    If you would like to meet a cat, please complete the online application located on our website catsnap.org.     We do not have a walk-in facility; most of our cats are in foster homes.  For this reason, we require an approved application on file before we set up a meet and greet.    Completing an online application does not obligate you to adopt!
