Jesse is a sweet 2-year-old Chihuahua mix weighing just 8 pounds , and she’s looking for a patient person who will give her the time and space she needs to blossom. When Jesse first came to us, she was understandably terrified. Since then, she has slowly started to come out of her shell and discover that people can be kind and trustworthy. Once Jesse truly trusts you, you’ll see the sweet girl underneath that initial shyness. She is currently calm and easygoing , and we’re excited to watch her continue gaining confidence. Jesse will do best in a quiet, patient home where her new family understands that trust takes time. She isn’t the type of dog who will immediately run up and demand attention—but give her time, consistency, and gentle encouragement, and she’ll reward you with her affection. Because Jesse is still building confidence, she is not recommended for a home with children at this time . A calm environment and someone willing to let her progress at her own pace would be ideal. Jesse is spayed, microchipped, up to date on vaccines and prevention, and heartworm negative . Her adoption fee is $250 .
