Description

Meet Brody — The gentle sweetheart with a brave spirit! This handsome boy is one of the most cuddly kitties you could every hope to meet. Rescued as a stray, Brody has blossomed in his foster home, where he has discovered just how wonderful life can be. He loves snuggling with his human, making biscuits and purring up a storm. He's also wonderfully expressive about his desire for additional pets: He'll softly nudge his foster's hand toward him and provide head bumps to make sure the message is received. And he absolutely adores having his belly rubbed. His favorite place is wherever his people are and he'd much rather be in the same room with his family than off doing his own thing. But when he's not lounging on a lap or sleeping beside his person, he enjoys zooming through his cat tunnel, chasing balls, batting at wand toys and playing with his scratcher. And did someone say catnip? Count Brody in!Then there are the treats. Brody is obsessed! Open the treat bag and he'll come running. His foster says his superpower might be mind control, because he can easily convince anyone to feed him crunchy and lickable snacks all day long. Brody's story makes his transformation especially touching. When his foster found him, he was just skin and bones, likely having suffered significant neglect and possibly abuse (someone had even shaved his beautiful blue-gray coat). Yet, despite everything he'd been through, Brody immediately allowed petting and looked up hopefully, as if asking to be rescued. In the safety and comfort of his foster home, Brody has become the affectionate, playful and trusting boy he was meant to be. His gorgeous coat is growing back and beneath it is a kitty boy with an even more beautiful heart and brave spirit. He has great manners and has been comfortable in a household with older, respectful children. He can be frightened by pushy cats who don't respect his boundaries, so he may be happiest as your one-and-only kitty. Still, his foster believes he could also do well with a well-mannered cat following a slow, thoughtful introduction. Because Brody craves attention, he'll do best in a home where his people have plenty of time to devote to him. He's thrived in a tranquil home, so a calm-to-moderate household may be ideal. This sweet boy has come such a long way—and deserves a forever home where he can spend his days being spoiled, cherished and very, very loved. Can you open your heart to him?WE DO NOT HAVE A PHYSICAL LOCATION AS WE ARE A FOSTER-BASED ORGANIZATION.  PLEASE SUBMIT AN APPLICATION TO BE IMMEDIATELY CONNECTED TO A SCREENER.Apply at online application (catsfff.org/adopt)View all of our adoptable cats here (catsfff.org/cats)Our adoption fees are listed here (catsfff.org/adoption-fees)
