Marx is a sweet teddy bear in a cat’s body. When I first brought him home from the shelter, he was very scared and unsure of everything. It took about two weeks for him to feel safe, build trust, and gain confidence.Once he finally relaxed and showed his true self, everything changed—now he purrs constantly, rubs against my legs every chance he gets, and even flops at my feet to show me his belly. Unlike most cats, he absolutely loves belly rubs!Even though he’s a big boy, he insists on being a lap cat. He’s incredibly sweet and follows me all around the house. He loves sleeping on his back with his belly up, playing with wand toys, and chasing stuffed catnip mice. Marx is calm, affectionate, and smart. He adores playing with his human, but he loves being petted even more. He will make an incredibly loving companion—perfect for someone looking for an adult, mellow, and sweet cat who enjoys keeping you company.
