ADOPTION APPLICATION:  https://elmorehumane.org/adoption-application-online-form2.html .    We respond via email to your apps so please add hselco@bellsouth.net to your contact list or check your SPAM folder for our response. If we do not receive a timely response we simply move on to another applicant.  And please wait for our response as we schedule appointments to meet our pets. Pet info, adoption cost/detail information below: PET DESCRIPTION:  Gigi is a gorgeous almost nine-year-old female long-hair kitty.  She sadly came to us when her owner had to go to assisted living.  Gigi is 1st an INDOOR ONLY lady!  2nd, she has not been around children so going to say no to children for her.  3rd, she was very withdrawn at first at having her whole world turned upside down but has come around to at least a few of our staff.  She is not a cat to take home and expect to be all lovey-dovey and acting like nothing challenging has happened in her life. That means an adopter who won't rush her when meeting her here and who will just let her come around on her own timeline when she goes to her new home.  She is a very sweet cat with those of our staff she trusts though so know she will be fine - just on her timeline, not yours.  She is good with dogs, has not lived with another cat so not sure about that.  Being an only would be more of what she is used to.  She was eating Purina Chikcen and Salmon in her home where she was very loved.   CAT ADOPTION FEE.  Cats & Kittens under one year old are $50.00 but cats over a year old are 'name your adoption fee.'   All cat adoptions include......mandatory spay/neuter which will be done before you can take your kitty home with you; basic kitty immunizations (FVR-CP+Calici); de-worming; one-year rabies vaccination if old enough; microchip from 24-Pet Watch (and we register for you at time of adoption); certificate for free health examination at your participating veterinarian; and a goodie bag chocked full of information, toys, etc. For more info: http://www.elmorehumane.org;  E-mail: hselco@bellsouth.net; Phone: (334) 567-3377
