Description

Meet Titan, a 6-year-old gentle cat looking for his forever home!Titan is a very gentle, lowkey guy who will bring lots of warmth to your home! He’s a sensitive boy who takes time to warm up, and is happiest when he’s allowed to move at his own pace and build trust through quiet, consistent interaction. Don’t be discouraged by Titan’s quiet side — when Titan realizes he’s in a trusted and safe place, he’ll respond to your affection by beginning to show his curious and sweet personality.Titan spent about a year with a small rescue before coming into foster care. He grew comfortable around the people and cats he knew. With his new living situation, Titan’s personality and activity level are still emerging as his confidence grows. He’s beginning to openly groom, explore, and enjoy affection with his foster family, and has become increasingly comfortable sharing space with other cats. Titan has a dedicated room in his foster home, where he lives with a resident cat and dog. During the day the door is left open and the resident cat will go in and nap or play near him. At night, the door is closed and Titan will explore the room freely.Titan would thrive in a calm and patient home where his people understand that trust is a process. A friendly, confident resident cat would be an ideal addition to his new home, as Titan seems to take comfort from feline companionship and may benefit from having another cat to help show him the ropes. A dog friend may also be a good fit with an appropriate introduction. Titan’s future family should be comfortable giving him space while also offering consistent, gentle interaction and allowing him to decide when he’s ready for more. Titan isn’t looking for someone to “fix” him, he’s looking for a home that will meet him where he is and give him the opportunity to show you who he can become. If you’re looking for a sweet and gentle cat to bring warmth to your home, Titan may be the guy for you!— — —There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown.
