  Sweet Indy’s story begins in Brockport, where she was found tucked underneath a car at an apartment complex — scared, unsure, and doing her best to stay out of harm’s way. Thankfully, some wonderful Good Samaritans stepped in. They scooped her up, got her vaccinated, cared for her, and connected with us for a placement that would give her the safe landing she deserved. When Indy arrived at the café, we were convinced she was much younger — she has that bright, expressive face and a spark that sneaks up on you. But this sweet, sometimes grumpy queen is actually 10 years old and she wears her age with pride. Her Personality Indy is the definition of an adaptable cat who thrives when life moves at her pace. She’s gentle, affectionate, and deeply loyal once she feels settled. But she’s also a girl who knows what she likes — and what she doesn’t. She’s not a fan of kitten chaos and isn’t shy about putting her little friends in their place when they get too close. She prefers a slow‑paced home, soft routines, and humans who appreciate a cat with opinions.
