Description

Teddy has the kind of face that makes you look twice. A diagonal splash of white cuts dramatically across his tabby face, running from his nose toward his forehead, while his golden eyes, touched with green, seem to be taking in everything around him. And Teddy intends to investigate it all! This is a kitten with places to go and things to do. Teddy is curious, playful, interactive, and wonderfully social with other cats. He keeps tabs on his littermates and the three resident cats in his foster home, checking in with everyone throughout the day. His energy shifts right along with the group. When it's time to play, Teddy is ready. When everyone settles down, he's perfectly happy to join the cuddle-puddle. People are just as important to Teddy, although new humans need to earn their way onto his VIP list. He can be tentative at first, especially in unfamiliar surroundings, but give him a little time and a calm introduction and you'll see the transformation. Before long, he's rubbing his head against your arm and purring like you've been friends forever. Once he's comfortable, Teddy enjoys being picked up, carried around, brushed, and showered with attention. Teddy approaches toys with an enthusiastic "yes, please!" attitude. Wand toys, balls, climbing adventures, or anything else you put in front of him are all worth investigating. When his batteries finally run down, his favorite places include a human lap, a pair of propped-up legs, a cozy spot against your body, or a pile of fellow kittens. He's also a serious fan of purée treats, especially Churu, and has impeccable opinions about scratching accommodations. Bowl scratchers are particularly prized because they are equally useful for scratching and napping, but vertical and horizontal scratchers get plenty of attention too. Teddy permits nail clipping and has excellent litterbox habits. Teddy would love a feline friend in his forever home and would be happiest with another cat or kitten to keep him company. Give Teddy a little time to get his bearings, and you'll soon have a playful, affectionate sidekick who wants to be wherever the action is. He's ready to supervise the household, participate in every game, collect his share of cuddles, and make himself thoroughly at home.
