Peter is a handsome grey tabby with beautiful stripe patterns and expressive green eyes. This sweet boy may take a little time to warm up to new people, but once he decides you're a friend, he becomes a loving cuddle-buddy for life! Peter prefers to keep all four paws on the ground and isn't a fan of being picked up, but he is affectionate on his own terms. He'll come over for pets and face scratches, occasionally curl up beside you or on your lap for a nap, and is always ready for bedtime snuggles. He likes to check in with his people throughout the day before heading off to investigate, play, or find a cozy spot for a nap. A gentle, well-mannered kitten, Peter enjoys stuffed mice, wand toys, balls, and chewable toys. His inner hunter comes out when he plays with his favorite mice, and he enjoys climbing and joining his siblings for playtime. Most of the time, though, Peter is perfectly happy to lounge and observe the world around him. He especially enjoys napping near his littermates and has a talent for finding hilarious sleeping positions. He also loves scratching posts and pads, including bowl scratchers that double as beds! Peter is a quiet boy who rarely meows but has a lovely purr. He permits nail clipping, uses his scratching surfaces appropriately, and has excellent litterbox habits. He has had positive experiences with cats and kittens and would love another feline companion in his forever home. He is not bonded to a particular cat, but he truly thrives with kitty friends. Peter can be shy around children, so he would do best with considerate, gentle kids who are willing to give him time and space to approach them.
