Currently located at our Owensboro, KY location   Meet Mirasol! Mirasol is a beautiful 1-year-old Pit Bull Terrier weighing around 40 pounds. She is fully vetted, spayed, heartworm negative, and ready to find a home where she can feel safe, loved, and understood. Mirasol's journey hasn't been an easy one. She came into our care after being pepper sprayed during a dog fight where another dog would not let go of her. Since that traumatic experience, Mirasol has made it clear that she prefers not to be around other dogs.While she may not want canine companions, Mirasol has plenty of love to give her people. She is affectionate and enjoys spending time with those she trusts. However, she can be protective of her kennel and personal space, so she will do best with a family that respects her boundaries and understands her needs.
