Description
Meet Opal — She Danced Through the Lightning Strikes Some cats just shine differently, and Opal is definitely one of them. Opal is a breathtaking, approximately 5-year-old long-haired beauty with snow-white fur, gorgeous light green eyes, and a HUGE fluffy white tail that deserves its own fan club. At around 12 pounds, she’s a big, beautiful girl with an even bigger heart. But Opal’s story almost had a very different ending. She was scheduled to be euthanized because she was missing the litterbox. Thankfully, a rescuer stepped in and decided that Opal deserved someone willing to figure out why instead of giving up on her.And guess what?A bigger litterbox and a different type of litter were all this girl needed. Wouldn’t you know it — Opal has been perfect with her litterbox ever since! This girl truly “danced through the lightning strikes” and came out the other side ready for her happily-ever-after. Like many long-haired beauties, Opal does need a little grooming maintenance, including keeping the fur around her backside trimmed so everything stays clean and comfortable. Luckily, she LOVES being brushed, so spa day is basically her favorite day. And sweet doesn’t even begin to describe her.Opal absolutely adores her person. She’ll follow you from room to room, asking for attention, pets and love. Her ideal home is one where someone appreciates having a gorgeous fluffy shadow who believes there is simply no such thing as too many pets. After everything she’s been through, Opal isn’t looking for much — just someone who will love her as fiercely as she’ll love them. Approximately 5 years old Long-haired white beauty Stunning light green eyes About 12 lbs of fabulous fluff Loves being brushed Extremely affectionate and people-oriented Spayed, fully vetted and vaccinated, including feline leukemia vaccine Microchipped Available for adoption through Paws Across PittsburghOpal already survived the storm. Now she’s ready for the part where the sky turns opalite. Could you be the person she’s been waiting to follow home?
