Description
NOTE- BANDIT IS LISTED AS A COURTESY FOR AN INDIVIDUAL ASKING TO REHOME THEIR PET. PLEASE SEE CONTACT INFO BELOW.Bandit is a sweet, loving beagle boy who was rescued from a neglectful situation. He spent the majority of his young life in a crate or tied outside. He didn't get fed on a regular basis and it was whatever they threw at him. Bandit is very food motivated and sometimes will hide a piece of food. He is learning that he will be fed on a regular schedule every day and has been doing much better with always wanting to eat. Bandit is about 10 pounds overweight and needs to get more exercise and lose some weight. Because Bandit didn't have much interaction with his people he developed separation anxiety. It has gotten better with time although he still wants to be where his person is. Bandit is good with school-aged children but hasn't been tested with babies/small children. Bandit would do well with a loving, patient, beagle savvy person/home. He needs someone who isn't away from the house for long periods of time or someone who is able to take him along. He loves to go for walks and car rides. He's not fond of water. Bandit needs a fenced yard to be off leash. He's a barker so a home that wouldn't have to worry about having very close neighbors is required. We don't know how Bandit would do with cats or other dogs. If you're looking for a loving, be by your side companion, please consider meeting Bandit. He is currently living in Martinsburg, WV.
