"Courtesy Post" This is not a Street Paws animal but we are assisting a family with placing their pet.  Meet Sugar! Sweet by name and sweet by nature, Sugar is a 1-year-old Chihuahua who has come an incredible way since being rescued. ❤️ Sugar was found wandering in a trucking yard with her collar painfully embedded into her neck. Despite the neglect she experienced, this little girl has shown just how resilient she is. Since coming into rescue, Sugar has absolutely thrived with her foster mom, learning what it feels like to be safe, loved, and cared for. Sugar is playful, affectionate, and completely devoted to her people. She loves attention, enjoys being with her humans, and has a fun little personality that will keep you smiling. Her foster mom has watched her blossom into a happy, loving girl who is ready for the next chapter of her life. Sugar has already learned that people can be kind and that she deserves to be loved. Now she needs a forever family who will continue to show her just how wonderful life can be. This little girl has overcome so much in her short life, and she is ready for the happy ending she deserves. ❤️ Sugar is proof that even after a difficult beginning, a little love can make all the difference. Adoptions are limited to an approximately 150 mile radius from Locust Grove, GA, certain circumstances may allow exceptions.  Adoption fee is $300 To apply to adopt this pet, please fill out a Preliminary Adoption Application at  https://www.streetpaws.org/home/adopt.     This application does not commit you to an adoption. It is used to screen those interested to make sure the home is a good match for the pet and your family. We verify vet history on current/previous pets to ensure pets have been spayed/neutered and vaccinated annually. Please call your vet to give permission for us to call them.
