Lulu (A143218) is a 7-month-old Pug/Corgi mix that weighed nearly 20lbs at intake!08/27/26 This little girl is Lulu! She was surrendered to the shelter due to her prior owner being unable to care for her and meet her energy needs. Lulu was said to be a rambunctious pup that loves to play! Her previous owner stated that she is house broken, uses potty pads or will whine/bark when she needs to go outside. Lulu spent most of her time in the house or in a kennel while at home and she has only ridden in a car twice and can get a bit nervous about car rides. She has been known to dig, climb fences, and will jump on people when she gets excited. Lulu is still a puppy and will need guidance as she grows and matures. She would highly benefit from puppy classes to help keep her on the right track and brush up on her manners. Lulu has had very limited experience with the world and can be a bit nervous about new things. She was said to be playful with other dogs once she feels comfortable but initially presents as timid and nervous. She has been around children in her prior home; however, please ensure you are taking those introductions with other pets and children in a slow, safe, and controlled manner.
