This lovely 5-year-old spayed Dutch Shepherd mix is looking for a patient, experienced adopter who understands the needs of intelligent, sensitive working-breed dogs. She is a gentle girl who takes treats softly but can be shy when meeting new people, so she will thrive in a calm, quiet, adult-only home where she is given time to build trust and confidence at her own pace. An active, structured lifestyle is essential, with daily leash walks, consistent routines, and ongoing mental enrichment. A securely fenced backyard is required to provide her with a safe space to relax and explore. Because she will need time to bond with her new family and develop a reliable recall, off-leash parks are not recommended at this time. Her adopter must be committed to implementing a structured feeding program that includes hand feeding, and trade-up exercises to promote positive habits and relationship building. Attendance in a basic manners class and/or private behaviour training is required to help her succeed in her new home.
