Moto Moto is an awesome 5-year-old cat, looking for his forever home! He is a gentle giant–very sweet, friendly, and laid back, yet also curious and confident.At first he was a little reserved while getting used to the space, but with a bit of encouragement, he came out and was very friendly right away. It didn’t take long for him to make himself at home. This cute guy likes pets and gentle scritches, and loves to recline on his side or back and have his chest rubbed. He enjoys snuggling behind your knees or anywhere close by when you are lying down; overall, Moto Moto is happy just to hang out near you in the room. His motor is in fine shape; this man purrs even when you aren’t petting him. Moto Moto rubs himself on your legs in traditional charming cat fashion, and sometimes even jumps up a bit to gently high five you with his side when you are sitting in a chair or standing, just to let you know that it’s time for a few pets. He also enjoys playing with a ribbon toy, and especially likes his catnip mouse.Moto Moto does have to learn a few manners about countertops and tables if you don’t want him on those surfaces, but seemed to learn our rules quickly, when gently redirected. He also is very considerate and covers his deposits in the litter box thoroughly.Moto Moto is a big boy and an avid gourmet, so he does need his portions controlled to limit his intake. He is doing very well on his reduced portions and lighter food and has already lost a few pounds. His forever family should be committed to keeping him on this regimen, so he can live his best active life. The only reason we aren’t keeping him is that our elderly cat is not quite comfortable with such a big boy around and we want to ensure her comfort for her last few years.
