Description
Meet Daisy! This adorable little 8-pound sweetheart is Daisy, an approximately 4-year-old female who we believe is a Shih Tzu/Mini Poodle mix. Whatever her mix, one thing is certain: this little girl is full of love! Daisy was found alone in a municipal park in NYC and ended up in the city’s shelter system. Wag On Inn pulled her so she could get the care she needs. Daisy is currently in NJ at one of our foster homes where she is being treated for a skin infection and KCS (dry eye which requires daily eye drops) and she’s doing really well. Daisy can be a little cautious when she first meets people, but she doesn’t take long to warm up. Once she feels comfortable, she is sweet, loving, affectionate, and playful. She absolutely loves her little squeaky toys and is always ready for some fun. And when it comes to mealtime, Daisy is definitely a girl who enjoys her food — she eats like a champ! Daisy is still building her confidence around bigger dogs. She may bark at them initially because they can make her nervous, but once she realizes they mean her no harm, she settles down and seems much more comfortable. A patient home willing to give her time to adjust will help her continue to blossom. ❤️ She’s also doing well with her potty habits! Daisy goes potty outside and will use pee pads indoors when supervised. This tiny girl has so much love to give and is looking for someone who will give her the patience, security, and affection she deserves. If you’re looking for a sweet little companion who will keep you smiling with her playful personality and squeaky-toy antics, Daisy could be your perfect match! Daisy is microchipped, and up to date on vaccines, heartworm and flea & tick preventatives. Daisy tested negative for heartworm. Daisy will be spayed shortly. Her adoption fee is $500. Please note that Daisy’s listed age and breed are our best estimates and not guaranteed. Adopting a dog is a commitment that will require at minimum annual veterinary care, training, exercise, enrichment, etc … Pet care is not cheap nor easy and adopters should consider the costs, time and training prior to adoption. After all Daisy has been through, she deserves a loving committed home. Daisy is available for adoption through Wag On Inn Rescue. Interested in making Daisy part of your family?
