Blackie and Princess are (we think) 4-5 year old, loving, bonded sisters. These beautiful girls are looking for their forever home!Blackie will give you all the love right back; all this girl needs is kindness and a safe, forever home. She and her sister will bring a lot of joy to your lives.Princess does indeed believe she is a princess! She is quite vocal, greeting me when I come into their area of the house. She tries to lead me where she wants me to be. In contrast, Blackie is very quiet, and seldom meows. Princess enjoys running around with Blacky chasing her, while Blackie is the king of chasing my yarn balls! They both also enjoy sitting on windowsills and taking solid cat naps. When they aren’t jumping, running, or showing the yarn who’s boss, Blackie and Princess are happy on a cozy chair next to their favorite human, or curled up together. Princess helps keep both of their coats meticulous by grooming both herself and her sister!They are active at times (they do sometimes like to jump up on the side tables), but like most cats, they also are always ready to snooze. They enjoy some dry food and some canned food once a day.This sweet pair currently lives with three adults. My husband and I are 91 and 88 years old, and our grandson who lives with us is 24. Our house is quiet, and cozy with lots of windows to look out and lots of comfy places to curl up for a nap. These pretty best friends are indoor cats. They would do best in a quiet home without other pets, with plenty of snug, warm spots where they can rest. Their forever humans should also work from home or be around a lot, and ready to enjoy having lap cats keep them company. These two have not met other cats or dogs, but would be fine with gentle, patient, older children.Blackie and Princess are looking for a loving forever home with people who will appreciate their quiet personality. They like to spend quality time together, but they also hope to find a kind family who will be eager to spend quality time with them!These beauties have no health issues, and recovered well from their spay surgeries. It may take them a little while to feel safe in their new home. (They may hide initially.) But with patience, loving care, and compassion, they will gain confidence and trust, and you will gain two sweet, very loving cats. Blackie and Princess are so ready to settle down and enjoy a long, happy indoor life with their forever family.There is no guarantee of age and breed as a rescue animal's history is unknown. All ages and breeds are best estimates.Adoption fees include a mandatory sales tax of 7.525%.All cats have received comprehensive veterinary care and tested negative for feline leukemia and FIV unless otherwise stated. Cats are up-to-date on age-appropriate vaccinations and have been spayed/neutered, treated for fleas and/or ear mites, de-wormed, and microchipped.
