Meet Blue, a 4-year-old American Bully mix weighing about 50 pounds, and this handsome guy is ready for a forever home that is truly his own. Blue is looking for an adult-only home where he can be the one and only pet. He has plenty of love to give, and he’d really like to pour all of it into his very own humans.  Blue is the kind of dog who wants to be your shadow, your couch buddy, your copilot, and your biggest fan. He absolutely adores his people and is happiest when he can be right there with them. His foster family describes him as friendly, happy, adaptable, loyal, and incredibly easy to live with. He doesn’t know a stranger, settles into new situations quickly, and has a sweet, silly personality that has really blossomed in his foster home. Blue is house-trained and crate-trained, and he is an absolute champ in his crate. Whether it’s overnight or while his foster family is away, he settles in quietly and comfortably. Around the house, he’s wonderfully easygoing. He enjoys hanging out with his people, playing with his toys, and having a good game of fetch, but he doesn’t need to be constantly entertained. A little playtime, a comfortable spot to relax, and his favorite humans nearby are pretty much Blue’s recipe for happiness. And when adventure calls? Blue is ready. He loves hopping in the car and tagging along, whether that means heading out for a little adventure or simply going wherever his people are going. He knows sit, down, paw, and stay, and he listens well to his humans. His foster family has loved having Blue and describes him as such an easy foster. He’s affectionate without being demanding, playful without being exhausting, and perfectly content to spend an evening curled up with his people after a little fun. Blue has his heart set on finding his forever person or people. Do you have room in your heart and home for this love-bug? His minimum adoption fee is $200 plus a $15 fee, if 4 months or older, for rabies registration for McLean County residents. He has been neutered, microchipped, vaccinated, heartworm checked, dewormed, and is on flea and heartworm preventatives.
