Description

Mariska is a little purr machine, the kind of cat who settles in for the night and doesn't want to leave your side. She sleeps curled up with her people every night, purring the whole time. She still carries a lot of playful, kitten-like energy, even as she's grown, and she gets along well with other cats. She takes a bit more patience to win over. Sudden movements or loud noises can send her scurrying for cover, and she'd rather not be picked up or carried. Once she feels safe, though, that softer side comes right out, and she rewards a calm, gentle approach with real affection. Mariska would do best in a quiet home where she can move at her own pace and settle in without pressure.
