Description
Hi, I’m Flounder, and I’m ready to find my forever home. I wasn’t always this happy. I was rescued from a wire-bottom cage in a garage, and now I’m discovering just how wonderful life can be. My favorite part? People. I absolutely love people. When I hear someone coming, I hop right over to the corner of my pen and stretch up as tall as I can to see if it’s someone coming to give me attention. If it is, get ready, because I get very excited and hop all around my pen. I’ll gladly soak up every bit of love you’re willing to give me. Floor snuggles? Yes, please. I’m a pretty calm and mellow guy, but I’m also very social. I don’t shy away from people, and being petted is one of my favorite things. Honestly, toys don’t interest me nearly as much as having a person around. I’d much rather spend my time with you. I have excellent manners, although I’m still working on my litter box habits. I’m getting better every day, but I like to leave a few little “coco puffs” around my castle to make sure everyone knows it belongs to me. I also enjoy chewing on apple sticks and hopping around outside my pen, so a bunny-proofed space is important. I’ve met two dogs, and I’m very curious about them. I’ll even hop right up to say hello. Of course, I’ll need slow and careful introductions to any other animals in my new home. My days are filled with meals, pets, playtime, and snuggles. I'm a prett sweet guy and might even enjoy having a bunny bondmate of my very own someday. If you’re looking for a sweet and social bunny who will happily accept all the attention you can give, I think we might be a perfect match. I’ve been waiting for my forever home. Could it be with you? *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience. All applications are reviewed on a case-by-case basis.* If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male (neutered) Birthdate: 6/10/2020 Approximate weight: 3lbs Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs). We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA. If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement. Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
