Patches

Description

Patches is just the best guy ever.  The vet guesses he is maybe between 5 and 8 years old but we really aren't sure.  He LOVES all the people.  Little kids, big kids, adults...anyone willing to give him pets.  He loves to follow his people around and be in the same room with you or better yet curled up with you.  He is fine with other cats but needs a slow introduction and he tolerates dogs and prefers calm, disinterested ones.  He was found as a stray in southern Illinois and clearly had a rough life.  He came up with pretty bad teeth and after his dental it was discovered that he has stomatitis and so he has had all of his teeth removed.  He has healed and is great now and still able to eat dry food although he is fed more wet food.  He also has evidence of two very old scars on each eye but they thankfully don't seem to bother him at all.  He is fixed, up to date on vaccines, dewormed, and microchipped.  He really deserves a nice cozy home to curl up in and get all the snuggles.
