Description

Meet Charlie, the gray tabby adolescent. Charlie came into the Shelter after his previous guardian was unable to continue caring for him. Charlie was the only animal in the home but was friends with a yorkie dog who would come over and visit. He was previously indoor-outdoor in the home and may do well with a similar set up in his next adoptive home (after a 30 day acclimation period). Charlie’s favorite activities in his previous home were playing with toys, chasing bugs and being outside. Charlie is a talkative guy who has a little petite meow. Charlie can sometimes be a bit tactile in play so adopters should be mindful of signs of overstimulation. Charlie's previous guardian reports he will `shake hands` for a treat and is good with children.Please note: Our Santa Cruz location’s Shelter hours are 11-6pm, 7 days a week! Although clients can walk through and see any animals in their kennels during open hours, we end “meet and greets” (aka meeting an animal out of the kennel) at 4:30pm every day. If you’d like to meet an animal out of the kennel, please arrive before 4:00pm to allow for time to discuss individual animals and meet them.
