Though we don’t know much about Jako’s past, Jako is slowly blossoming in our care—showing us more of his sweetness and charm each day as he builds trust and confidence.Jako is a gentle soul and can be a little shy ?? at first, especially in new places or around unfamiliar faces. When faced with something new, he tends to freeze rather than react defensively, and has never shown any aggression towards our staff. With patience, reassurance, and a gentle touch, Jako melts into a total cuddlebug, happily climbing into your lap (all 83 pounds!) for snuggles. Once he feels secure, Jako’s goofy, playful side bursts out—particularly when he’s around other dogs.
