With a Song in Your Heart! Imagine losing your trusted companion, and being left all alone in the apartment. For weeks after her person died, Canción had no cat friends, and the only human she saw only came in once a day to feed her. When her rescuer saw her sweet face, the first word she thought of was “Song.“ Since this cat came from a Washington Heights neighborhood where most of the human sounds she heard were the lyrical tones of Spanish, we decided to name her Canción. Canción is somewhere between four and five years old. She is spayed, tested, vaccinated, and microchipped.  She loves to be petted and to sit on laps. She would love to be your one and only love, but could accept a friend in time. Canción will make your heart sing!
