Meet the Greek Gods Litter: Iris, Atlas, Hermes, Orion & Selene! These five little legends are ready to conquer hearts! Iris and Selene are the girls, while Atlas, Hermes, and Orion are the boys. Their story almost had a very different ending. Iris, Atlas, Hermes, and Orion were pulled from a very rural animal control facility when their time was up. Little Selene was a last-minute addition to the group, but you’d never know she wasn’t part of the original crew—the others welcomed her immediately, and she quickly became one of their own. Iris, Atlas, Hermes & Orion are an incredibly friendly, outgoing, and affectionate bunch. They love people and want to be right in the middle of whatever their humans are doing. Pick them up and cradle them like babies, and they’re perfectly happy to soak up all the love. They’re playful, curious, treat-motivated, and always ready for toys, zoomies, and a good kitten wrestling match. Atlas is the talker and resident investigator. He’s usually the first one checking out something new, and before long, the others are following his lead. Together, they make one very entertaining little crew! Selene is our gentler soul. She’s more timid and still learning that the world isn’t such a scary place. She can be hand-shy and gets nervous with lots of activity and commotion, but she’s making wonderful progress. Once you have her in your arms, her sweet side shines—she loves being held and cuddled and starts purring almost instantly. She just needs more time, patience, and socialization to build her confidence, so Selene will not be available for adoption quite yet. We would absolutely love to see these kittens adopted in pairs, although it isn’t required. What is important is that they have a friendly, playful kitty companion in their forever home. They should do well with older children and may also be a good fit with a cat-friendly dog after a proper introduction. If your home could use a little more love, laughter, kitten chaos—and perhaps a Greek god or two—Iris, Atlas, Hermes, Orion, and eventually sweet Selene are ready to bring some mythology into your life!
