Meet Gary “Legs” Potato! ❤️ Gary is an approximately 2-year-old, 90-pound Shepherd mix with a heart just as big as he is! Despite his impressive size, Gary is surprisingly gentle, especially with kids. He’s wonderful with children and does great with other dogs—including the little ones in his foster home. He’s a submissive guy who can be a little intimidated by loud barking, but overall he’s an easygoing, sweet-natured boy. Gary is also a dream on leash and walks very nicely. We’re told he does well with cats, too, although that’s something we still need to confirm. Now, Gary does have one very important talent: he is apparently an escape artist. Somehow, this 90-pound dog managed to squeeze through the bottom of a crate like a cat! So clearly, he’s not going to be impressed by your standard security measures. Once he’s out and about, though, Gary is a pretty polite house guest. He’s happy to chill around the house and hang out with his people. Just remember that when you’re 90 pounds and everything is conveniently mouth-height, the kitchen counters may require a little supervision. Gary is a big, gentle, goofy boy who would love a family to call his own. If you’re looking for a giant sweetheart with a silly personality and an even bigger heart, Gary might just be your guy! ❤️
