Description

Hi, I’m Beni! I am a friendly, curious guy with a personality that gets brighter and more confident every day! Once I know you, I’ll be right at my expen gate to say hello, happily take treats from your hand, and even melt into a puddle when you pet my head, cheeks, ears, or anywhere else I can reach—gentle tooth chittering is my way of saying, “Yep, keep doing that!” I absolutely LOVE my five-way tunnel, whether I’m racing through it or curling up inside for a cozy nap, and I’m also a big fan of chewing cardboard boxes, tubes, packing paper, and apple branches; I’m still deciding what I think about other toys, but I’m open to expanding my interests! I’m quite the household helper, too—I pull towels and blankets through my expen bars during laundry time and carefully inspect my hooman’s boxing wraps when they’re left on the floor, because apparently everything needs a thorough bunny inspection. When I’m scared by a new noise or situation, I’ll tuck myself under my storage bin for a little security, but when I’m happy, I’ll hop right on top of it like I own the place! I’ve only had limited experience with children and haven’t met dogs or cats, so I’d do best with calm, patient hoomans who will let me warm up at my own pace and respect my boundaries while I build confidence. Once I’m comfortable, I’m becoming more and more interested in seeking out attention and affection, and I’m perfectly happy hanging out with my people—but I might also enjoy having a bunny friend someday if we’re a good match. I do wonderfully with my litterbox (with only the occasional stray cocoa puff), although I may feel the need to mark my territory around other bunnies, and I do well in a bunny-proofed space with some supervision at first while we figure out what I consider chew-worthy. I’m a pretty easygoing eater and love my twice-daily routine of Oxbow Adult Pellets mixed with a little Science Selective, Timothy hay, romaine, cilantro, parsley, spring greens, and—most importantly—my breakfast and dinner banana slices! I’ll happily accept loops and baked Timothy treats in apple, cranberry, or banana flavors, because I honestly haven’t met a food I don’t like. I’m even learning to tolerate brushing when I’m shedding, although it’s definitely not my favorite thing—but thankfully, all those wonderful pets from my hooman are already helping keep my fluffy coat under control. I’m still discovering just how wonderful the world can be, and I can’t wait to find a patient hooman who will give me the time and love to let my whole personality shine! *RRMN requires all children be 10+ years old for first time bunny owners and 8+ for those with previous bunny experience.  All applications are reviewed   on a case-by-case basis.*  If you're interested, please fill out an adoption application at: http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com. Gender: Male (neutered) Exact birthdate: 9/23/2025 Approximate weight: 4.76 pounds Adoption fee: $100.00 (+tax) RRMN bunnies are all vetted, spayed/neutered, and vaccinated. All bunnies are fostered in private homes where they are socialized and ready to become indoor companion house pets. RRMN is a non-profit rescue group operated 100% by volunteers, and 100% of donations/adoption fees go to the direct care of our animals. Due to their very special behavioral needs, we do not advocate for our rescue rabbits to serve as Emotional Support Animals (ESAs).  We are unable to provide any documentation or certification for an ESA.        If you have any questions or are interested in meeting or adopting this bunny, the first step is to complete an adoption application found on our website:  http://www.rabbitrescueofmn.com.  For the safety of our rescue bunnies, our protocol requires a home-visit before placement.  Therefore, we are unable to facilitate adoptions that exceed an hour and a half of travel time from the Twin Cities area.
