Description

Meet Wobbegong, a 3‑month‑old kitten who came to us with his siblings. While the rest of his litter has already moved on to another shelter, Wobbegong stayed behind simply because he needed a little more time. He’s a shy boy at first glance, but once one of our techs started spending extra time with him, it became clear that he’s not fearful — just a tiny kitten trying to make sense of a very big world. With patience, gentle attention, and someone willing to go at his pace, Wobbegong blossoms. He leans into quiet companionship, warms up with soft voices and slow movements, and shows his sweet, thoughtful nature once he feels safe. He’s the kind of kitten who rewards kindness with deep trust. Thanks to his age, Wobbegong is good with kids, cats, and dogs, and he’ll thrive in a home that understands that shy kittens often become the most loyal companions. If you’re looking for a tender little soul who just needs someone willing to meet him where he is, Wobbegong is ready to start his story with you. Please note: All of our animals are spayed/neutered and up to date on age-appropriate vaccinations. Each pet also receives a behavioral assessment to help us better understand the type of home they may thrive in. However, it’s important to remember that the results may not fully reflect an animal’s true personality, as shelter and foster environments can be stressful. If you are interested in meeting any of our animals, we encourage you to first visit our website and submit an adoption application: https://www.acskc.org/adopt-1Once your adoption application has been approved, we will call you to set up an appointment to meet with the pet!
