Description
Meet Hope. Hope is a beautiful 4-year-old Pit Bull who arrived at the shelter as a stray on July 25, 2026. When she first came to us, she was incredibly scared and nervous and had clearly been through a lot. She had a significant wound on her neck and hip, along with a severe yeast infection that left her with a permanent cauliflower ear. Thankfully, Hope has received the care she needed, and her wounds and skin are healing beautifully. Her medical treatment did postpone her spay, but she is now focused on the next chapter of her life â finding a safe place to call home. Hope is a quiet, gentle, nervous girl who looks to her human friends for guidance. When she isn't sure what to do, she watches her shelter buddies and takes her cues from them. She has the most gorgeous blue eyes and a sweet, soft nature that shines through once she feels safe. Hope is also potty trained, but she is very nervous around other dogs, so a home where she can be the only dog, or a calm respectful dog would be the best fit for her. What Hope needs most isn't a busy household or someone looking for an outgoing, confident dog right away. She needs a quiet home, a patient person, and someone willing to show her that she is safe.Give Hope time to decompress. Give her guidance when the world feels overwhelming. Give her the opportunity to build confidence. And in return, you may get to watch a beautiful girl finally discover who she was always meant to be. Her name is Hope for a reason. Sheâs still hoping her person is out there.
